Install the Connect IQ app
Open Garmin Connect, go to the Connect IQ Store, and search for “The Surfr App”. Install it on your watch.
Connect your Garmin account
In Surfr, open the Session page, tap the settings icon, and choose Connect Garmin Account.
Finish the one-time onboarding
Follow the short onboarding on your watch so Surfr knows it is ready to record.

How do I install Surfr on my Garmin?
Install The Surfr App from the Connect IQ Store through Garmin Connect, then connect your Garmin account in the Surfr app from the Session settings.
